Where our members work

The Bakers Food and Allied Workers Union represents workers throughout the food industry, those that produce food, move food around the country and those that sell food, as well maintenance engineers, hygiene operatives, canteen staff and more.

We are the only trade union in the UK that solely represents workers in the Food industry, all of our elected officials and executive council members have experience working in different parts of the industry and come from the shop floor, meaning they understand many of the issues you face as they faced them too.

We have a number of national recognition agreements and even more site based ones, as well as members in non recognised workplaces, whether in a recognised workplace or not the BFAWU is here to support you.
