Celebrating Women in the BFAWU

Adrianna Kara Branch 331

I proudly represent the BFAWU trade union to ensure that workers’ rights are respected and those who fought for these rights in the past are remembered.

Remembering the millions of unemployed people, minimum wage workers (especially in the hotel industry and the entire food industry), and also remembering about underage workers… graduates… women’s rights and human rights that are so often forgotten now.

I strongly support the unions campaigns on the Right to Food, banning Zero Hours Contracts, MeTu, campaigns against harassment and sexual harassment and campaigns against racism and discrimination

My speeches are based on facts and my own experiences, not only on dry statistics.

I stand for equality, justice, dignity and respect.

Workers’ rights are human rights!

The Trade Union and the TUC have also enabled me to develop and continue my passion for law and politics, as well as the sense of support and the pleasure of working with my BFAWU reg 3 West Midlands team
