BAME

Institutional racism remains a fundamental problem in our society. This means that all organisations and communities, including trade unions, need to continue to tackle racism and promote race equality.

This section seeks to be a focal point for support and advice on dealing with issues of discrimination, harassment and racism that BFAWU members experience.

We know there are structural barriers such as racism, including assumptions about capabilities based on racial/ethnic stereotypes are every day experiences for BFAWU BAME members.
