Welsh Learning Project
The Welsh Government introduced a Union Learning Fund in 1999 to support Unions in providing learning and education to members and employees in companies that participate in the project.
The first project in Wales was at Burtons Biscuits at the start of the project in 1999, with a Wales wide bid coming in 2004 and have been successful since then, providing learning for all members. Today, the project has evolved and provides many courses to help members and employees gain qualifications such as ILM, Mental Health First Aid, Team Leader qualifications and helped many people achieve their dreams or supported them in gaining qualifications that will provide promotion or new job prospects.
The BFAWU Wales Learning Services will work tirelessly to ensure the learner is supported through the learning experience .Your success ensures our success and it is this joint approach that will help you through the difficult times to make sure you achieve your aims.
